The name says it all, in our select half day tour you will discover the best Newy has to offer.

We take in the major sights of Nobbys Beach and surrounds, continuing along the harbour to check-in to our street-art scene before heading to the 'burbs. The Essentials x 'The Burbs is a premium tour inclusive of food and beverage tastings throughout.

Here we 'go local', peeling back a layer of Newcastle's history, sampling some of our makers finest produce. At each stop you'll learn about how it makes up the essence of Newy, contributing to the fabric of our great coastal city. We're spoilt for choice and whilst some venues are availability dependent, some things may change from time-to-time.

What We'll Do

You will meet your guide at Nobbys Beach for introductions, getting to know each other before the next 3-4 hours of discovery.
You're exploring our coastal city with a local, as a local! Our goal is for you to feel like you're out with a friend, not following a guide around town.

Newcastle is an extremely safe and bike friendly city and one of the only cities with a CBD on the beach!

First, we chat through the tour, get comfortable with your bike getting safety and house keeping out of the way (including COVID-19 safety measures).

At Nobbys Beach you are going to feel the essence of Newy. Here we take in the sights of the beach, lighthouse and break wall/ocean baths. Photo opportunities aplenty!
 

From here we will discover the Newcastle Foreshore, popular with both locals and visitors.

Along the way we see notable local murals and street art that influence Newcastle's art scene. We'll see loads of great stuff enroute, so no biggy if you're not an art buff.

We'll keep riding, peeling back a layer of one of Newy's lesser known suburbs learning about it's blue-collar roots before sampling some of Newy's best gin or beer (availability pending).

By now you're hungry. The tour ends at an infamous Newcastle foodie institution in a neighbourhood known for nightlife, cuisine and checkered history. Sometimes we need to adapt: Our tours may change from time-to-time pending weather conditions, venue operations, venue availability and any adhoc must-see things you can't miss.
